Well, after watching 4 episodes of the drama series, I have to say that the production people knew what they were doing. Somehow, the both of them seem to have such great on screen chemistry and the show is really interesting. Even my mum, who is not too crazy about Taiwanese dramas, agreed that Down With Love is a great watch.
Here is a synopsis of the story:
The 25-episode romantic comedy which is currently screening in Taiwan and Malaysia has JerryYan playing a cold, ruthless divorce and inheritance lawyer Xiang Yu Ping, who hires Yang Guo (Ella) as a nanny to care for his problematic nephew and niece, Fei and Ting, after his brother's demise. Every nanny the handsome lawyer hires for them is either scared off by the two mischievous children or they go gaga over their drop dead gorgeous boss. Exasperated and fed up with the situation, XiangYu Ping gets his secretary, Yang Duo, to find a nanny who would be able to stand up to the children and at the same time not be affected by his looks. Having lost all their wealth when their mother passed away and being abandoned by their father after racking up heavy debts; Yang Duo and her sister, Yang Guo, who had become poor after the death of their mother and becoming debt ridden after their father ran away needed the money and so that was how Yang Guo ended up as the nanny. Yang Duo had assured her boss that her tomboyish sister would not be smitten with him by lying that she was gay.
As the story goes, this unlikely pair fall in love once they are under one roof as the kind hearted, loving and lively Yang Guo eventually melts Yu Ping's heart.

Rumour has it that both the male and female leads appear to be very cosy even off-screen and there are speculations that there might be something more to be read into their affection for each other.
Hmm ... I am really waiting to see if the unlikely couple of Jerry and Ella do really end up tying the knot in real life. That would really be interesting.
