RED ROBE TRAVELLING PU-TAI

In 2004, my mum was very ill and through the grace of the Gods and also the practice of Feng Shui, she managed to recover.  It was after her recovery that she saw a lovely statue of the Red Robe Travelling Buddha Holding a Gold Ingot in a shop selling prayer paraphernalia.  She took a great liking to the statue and decided to invite it home after paying about RM280.
When she invited Pu-Tai back to our house, it was really because she had great affinity with Him and also because she had learnt that we would be blessed by His presence.
It was very much later that she and I read about the goodies that the Laughing Buddha would bring to a household.  He is known as a deliverer of good luck, contentment, and prosperity. He brings happiness to others through his appearance.
The Laughing Buddha in my house has a perpetual smile, a gold ingot in His hand and a giant coin and a big sack of treasure tied to his staff, signifying continuous good fortune, prosperity, abundance and good health luck. The red robe worn by Pu-Tai is said to supress the quarrelsome star #3.
The Laughing Buddha in my house is placed in the living room and faces the front door to harness good fortune while staving off bad luck, to bring in harmony and take away quarrels, to absorb negative Ch’i and emanate auspicious energies.
