PUTTING IN MONEY WHEN GIVING A WALLET OR PURSE AS A GIFT

When giving someone a gift of a wallet or a purse, make sure that you put in some money as well so that the person will have good luck.  By putting money together with the gift of the wallet/purse,  it would symbolise that it will not be empty of money. 
According to Chinese beliefs (and also that of some other cultures), it is bad luck to give someone an empty wallet or purse (no matter how expensive it is).  The person receiving the gift might end up not having money in the wallet or purse.      
My sister, Li Lian, asked me to buy  present on her behalf for our nephew, Benjamin, who scored 10As in his examinations and I decided on getting him a leather wallet after I spoke with him.  However, I will put in RM20.00 inside as well to symbolise that the wallet will be always filled with cash,
