IPOH WHITE COFFEE

Unlike my nephew Jeremy who prefers the original Ipoh White Coffee from Ipoh Old Town, my mum and aunt say that the cuppas at the Franchise is just as good.  I would usually take them to one of the many outlets once a month fo them to enjoy the white coffee that my hometown is so famous for.
I am not a coffee person as drinking it triggers off migraine attacks and so I would order a lime juice or a soft drink.
Ipoh "white" coffee is not really white in colour.  It is brownish after milk has been added.

This popular white coffee that is famous throughout Malaysia has its origins in Ipoh. The coffee beans are roasted with palm-oil margarine, and the resulting coffee is served with condensed milk.
Besides having their caffeine fix, the two ladies also enjoy eating the Lum Mee.  They like it because it is soft enough for them to eat.
Me?  I like the toasted brown bread that I can eat with the potato curry.
All three of us are in agreement that life is too short and therefore we should learn to relax and enjoy life.  Eating good food is something that puts a smile on all our faces.
