THE HERB OF WOMANHOOD

I like to drink the Kacip Fatimah herbal drink that is sold in pink cans.  Somehow, i have acquired a taste of this particular drink.  Some of my Malay friends tell me that they would drink it to improve their womanhood to please their husbands.  Since I have no husband to please, I drink it to please my tastebud.
A check in the Internet has led me to the benefits this particular herb has for females.  No wonder it is sometimes called "The Herb of Womanhood".

The botanic name for Kacip Fatimah is Labisia Pumila.  It has been used for centuries by Malaysian women. The plant is traditionally boiled and the water extraction is taken as a drink. Nowadays, one can buy the processed herbs which come in the form of herbal drinks or pills from the pharmacies, supermarkets and department stores.

Here is the list of benefits of the Kacip Fatimah:
  • Prevents cramping, water retention and irritability for those with painful periods;
  • helps establish a regular menstrual cycle when periods fail to appear for reasons like stress, illness or when the pill is discontinued ;
  • Balances, builds and harmonizes the female reproductive system to encourage healthy conception
    toning up stomach and vaginal muscles;
  • Supports healthy vaginal flora to prevent irritation and infections;
  • increase free testosterone from the ovaries;
  • increase in testosterone may cause increase in libido and sexuality in women.
  • postpartum medication to help contract the birth channel,
  • delay conception;

  • regain body strength and healthy psychical well being after childbirth.
  • Helps to solve the problems related to constipation;
  • Anti-dysmenorrhoea; cleansing and avoiding painful or difficult menstruation
  • Anti-flatulence, drive away and prevent the formation of gas.
