Yesterday morning, I managed to buy egg tarts from the Choy Kee stall in the Kampung Simee market. Believe me, these egg tarts are famous and people from near and far would line up to get them in the morning. The egg tarts have been featured in a Hong Kong television food series (the one with the fat chef known as Tou Tou) and also a Malaysian travel programme. The filling of the creamy egg custard is so satisfying, and the crust is flaky. As far as I am concerned, they are the best I have eaten.
