REPLACE, REPAIR OR REMOVE

I read in an Internet article that if anything in your house is broken or not working, there are three alternatives.  You can Replace, Repair, or Remove the item as soon as possible.

It is not good to be surrounded by things that are broken, ripped, torn, stained, dirty, in disrepair, or not working.  These negative conditions represent a disregard for your home or workplace and also you and your family. Cracks, holes, chipped paint, peeling wallpaper, or dead plants represent negative forces in your life since they block the flow of positive energy around you. Leaks, especially, can result in a drain on your finances, since in Feng Shui water represents abundance.

This is the condition of the dustpan in the library when I took it out from the storeroom.  I told my library assistant to throw it away and I would be buying a new one.  A new one costs less than RM5.00.
