HOT RAIN RICE

Hot Rain Rice is the literal translation for a Malay dish called Nasi Hujan Panas which I ate for lunch today.  I had mine with fish while my other friends had theirs with chicken. If you look at the first picture, the rice has a few colours like that of the rainbow.  I guess it is called hot rain rice because one might see a rainbow if it rains on a hot day.  Is that anyone out there who know the real reason why this dish is so called?  Anyway, this dish is also known as Nasi Warna-warni or Colourful Rice.
