When I went to the temple in Chemor on Sunday, I was told that they award money to students who have come and ask for blessings from Kung Tze or Confucious before they sit for their examination. Last year alone, the temple committee gave our more than RM40,000 money to children who have scored at least one A in their examination. Hmm ... I requested that Confucius help me to fulfil my dream of reading for my Doctor of Philosophy in TESL. If I do achieve my dream, will I get rewarded too? Even if I am much, much older than the other students. Kee! Kee! Kee!
