A Taoist priest conducting a ritual prayer for one of the victims who drowned at the spot in Batu Berangkai waterfalls where he was last seen.A few days ago three students from a Malaysian university died when they were swept away at the Bukit Berangkai Waterfalls. In the news article was a picture of the family members of one of the victims holding a ritual prayer for his soul. They employed a Taoist priest to chant prayers for the dead man to enable him to transcend his present condition. In this way the soul of the victim who died so violently and suddenly would be at peace.
