Hu Ge before the accident
In hospital after the accidentI love watching kungfu cum fantasy Chinese serials as they take me to a different realm far different from the harsh realities of everyday life. At present I am watching a serial from China called 'Chinese Paladin 3' starring mainland actor, Hu Ge.
Actually Hu Ge also starred in Chinese Paladin 1 which catapulted him to fame. I already knew who Hu Ge was as I watched him acting in the movie "Butterfly Lovers" alongside Wu Chun and knew that he was injured in an automobile accident in which his assistant died.
He suffered from injuries to his face and had to be hospitalised for some time. Hu Ge also underwent corrective surgery on his face. For a good looking, young actor like him, facial injuries could very well mean that his career would be affected.
Anyway, this young man was strong enough to overcome the hurdles and he made good his time in hospital by writing. Eventually he recovered and went on to continue his career in the entertainment industry. This is a clear example of overcoming adversities in life. I believe that Hu Ge would have become stronger from all these.
