LIFE PATHS CROSSING

Cikgu Ishak is a Physics teacher in my school and Puan Asiah is my library assistant. When Cikgu Ishak was in Form 1 in a Science College in Teluk Intan, Puan Asiah was working there as an office assistant. That was when they first got to know each other. According to Puan Asiah, when she first knew him, Cikgu Ishak was a small size boy and very quiet.
When he finished his secondary education, he went on to continue his studies at University Malaysia and she was posted to my school after she got married.
Then when he finished his studies, Cikgu Ishak was posted to my school in 1997 when he was 26. From a little boy of 13, Puan Asiah has seen him grow into a man of 36 this year.
Next year, Cikgu Ishak will no longer be in my school as he will be transferred to another school as my school will revert to a Vocational School and Physics is not offered under the syllabus.
The Chinese believe that the life paths of humans do cross at certain points but then at other points they have to part. At two points in their lives, Cikgu Ishak's and Puan Asiah's life paths crossed but then I guess it will become uncrossed again. Who knows maybe one day, they would again be working in the same school again? Life is always full of surprises!
