There is this line in the Spiderman comic's which goes, "With great power comes great responsibility". Similarly, celebrities who are the object of adoration of millions (especially the young ones) are seen as role models.
A short while back, we all learnt that Andy Lau had been lying about his marital status for a year or so. This made quite a number of his fans lose faith in their idol. There was also the case of a Korean actor who is now charged with assault on his manager. Then recently, there was this case of Hong Kong based Malaysian singer, Gary Cao, being involved in a brawl with Justin Lo after leaving a pub. Don't these people realise that because of their fame, they have a responsibility to the public not to go overboard with their behaviour?
