RECIPE FOR NASI LEMUNI

Here is a recipe for nasi lemuni for you to try.
  1. The leaves, with some water is blended and strained and added in rice to cook.
  2. Some santan (coconut milk) is added in, and also chopped garlics, fresh ginger, shallots and pandan leave to enhance the taste and smell. It doesn't really matter how much of the juice is used in the rice, as long as the portions of rice, water, lemuni and coconut milk is adequate - the rice will turn out yummy.
  3. Just like the nasi lemak, you can eat the nasi lemuni with boiled eggs, sambal, rendang, or ikan bilis (fried anchovies).
  4. You can also add other simple side dishes like fried omelette, salted fish and cucumber slices to make the nasi lemuni taste even better.
