DON'T CRY FOR ADAM LAMBERT

There has been a lot of discussion about the eventual winner of American Idol Season 8 in particular about why he won instead of Adam Lambert. Many of the articles kept harping on the reasons why Allen managed to defeat Lambert in terms of votes. Even in Malaysia, there are many Glambert fans who are mourning his loss and thinking why the Americans chose the bland performer instead of the spicy hot one.

What I can say is we don't need to cry for Adam. Why? Because given his unique stage presence, and the many fans he acquired in his march to the Finale and the massive exposure he's gotten from appearing in American Idol, he may be as likely as any "American Idol" winner to achieve stardom.
Taking second place might just be a blessing in disguise for him as he'll have more control over his career and he won't be committed to sing "No Boundaries". Furthermore, not all Idol winners achieve stardom. In fact only Kelly Clarkson, the first-season winner and fourth-season winner Carrie Underwood could be considered as really successful. Then there are finalists or also the also-rans like Clay Aiken, Chris Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson, who became bigger stars than the winners for their years.
Actually many Adam fans already know in their hearts that Adam will have a great career ahead of him, but are upset on the principle that the better performer did not win.
