Other Name: Asthma weed, Hairy Spurge, Cats hair, Fei-yang ts'ao

MEDICINAL USES:

1. Asthma weed has antiviral and - bacterial properties. Its juice is used traditionally as eye drops for conjunctivitis or ulceration of the cornea.


2. It is used against asthma, bronchitis, worm infestation, conjunctivitis and dysentery.


3. The latex of the plant is used for warts and cuts. It also has lactogenic properties.


4. The plant can be made into an infusion or tea. Drink 4 glasses daily, for bronchits and labored breathing, asthma, chronic dysentery.


5. The root is used for snake bites.
