Whenever the whether becomes unbearably hot (as like this afternoon), I'd go looking for a place that sells Ais Kacang or ABC (Air Batu Campur). For those who don't know what it is, Ais Kacang is a Malaysian dessert where shaved ice is served different fruit cocktails and dressings like agar-agar, grass jelly, sweetcorn, red beans and cendol. Evaporated milk is drizzled over the mountain of ice. The result is a yummy dessert that helps to refresh us on a very hot day! The ice kacang that I had cost RM2.50. Cheap, eh? But believe me, it is delicious.
