WAH! PEOPLE PAY MONEY FOR THIS?

Eeks! Do you know that there are people who actually go to the lengths of having the back of their bodies pierced in such a way to resemble a corset.

How is it done? The piercing is placed in two columns vertically along the back, imitating the position of the eyelets on a corset and to intensify this illusion a lace or string can be threaded through the jewelry. This type of piercing is not cheap, it cost abour US$100 for the six piercings to be done.

Aiya ... and I thought that people do the piercings for religious reasons during Thaipusam and the Festival of the Nine Gods as a form of penance. Now, I read that this is for the sake of fashion. What next???
