IS TODAY THE BIRTHDAY OF JESUS?

"Mary's Boy Child"

A Long time ago in Bethlehem
So the Holy Bible say
Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ
Was born on Christmas day
Hark, now hear the angels sing
A new King born today
And man will live forever more
Because of Christmas day
Trumpets sound and angels sing
Listen what they say
That man will live forever more
Because of Christmas day
While shepherds watched their flock by night
And see a bright new shining star
And hear a choir sing
The music seem to come from afar
Now Joseph and his wife Mary
Come to Bethlehem that night
And find no place to borne sweet child
Not a single room was in sight
Hark, now hear the angels sing
A new King born today
And man will live forever more
Because of Christmas day
Trumpets sound and angels sing
Listen what they say
That man will live forever more
Because of Christmas day
By and by they find a little roof
In a stable all forlorn
And in a manger cold and dark
Mary's little boy was born
Long time ago in Bethlehem
So the Holy Bible say
Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ
Was born on Christmas day
Hark, now hear the angels sing
A new King born today
And man will live forever more
Because of Christmas day

We have the nativity scene in the above photographs. It depicts the birth of baby Jesus to Mary in Bethlehem. In the song, "Mary's boy child", it was mentioned that Jesus was born on Christmas day. But, when actually is Christmas day? Many biblical historians admit that December 25 is not really the birthdate of Christ. Now astrologers and scientists have come up with an alternative date from their research. You can read more by visiting http://www.utopia-net.org/English/0417jesus1.html.

The date that they have pinpointed as the day Mary's boy child was born is April 17. If the calculation is correct, then Lee Jun Ki and I share the same birthday as the Son of God.
Anyway, seasons greetings. Happiness and joy to everyone on a day where children are made to believe that a jolly fat man in red costume goes around on a sleigh driven by reindeer to deliver presents to the good ones. As for Christ, we'll celebrate his birthday on April 17. Ho! Ho! Ho!
