Hong Kong 'heavenly king' of the entertainment world is in Singapore to stage two sold-out concerts, one tonight and the other tomorrow night. The concerts are a part of the Andy Lau Wonderful World Tour 2008. I know because my relatives in Singapore told me. They also asked why I did not not want to go watch this concert as Andy Lau is a very popular artiste. Actually, it is a matter of preference. I am not and never have been a fan of Andy Lau (however talented he is) and have no desire to watch him in concert.

Then you must be wondering why the title of this post is "About Time Andy...", right? Heh! Heh! I am actually referring to all the latest buzz about him finally going to tie the knot with his girlfriend of 24 years next year in Pulau Redang. Aiyoh! Andy, do the gentlemanly thing and make an honest woman out of your faithful companion, Carol. In my opinion, he shouldn't have kept the lady waiting for so long just because he feared that his popularity would be threatened because of his marital status. Yeah, instead of two real children, he has two soft toys by the name of Andox and Blackie tagging along after him. Anyway, rumour has it that he already has a son with Carol. I am sure we will find out the truth very soon. The other fella who recently got married after being with his girlfriend for 20 odd-years is Tony Leung. His excuse was because of some prediction by the fortune teller. Hmmm... the price some men and women have to pay for fame!
