MY FAVOURITE DESSERT


Today I made my favourite dessert, soya bean jelly. I learnt how to make it from my Aunt May and once in a while I'll make it for myself and my friends in school. Want to try making it? The recipe is below:

SOYA BEAN JELLY

Ingredients:

1/2 tahil agar-agar strands
1/2 kilo sugar
2 packets of soya bean milk
some pandanus leaves
1 tin of longan in syrup

Method
  1. Boil agar-agar strands with 7 cups of water. Put in some pandanus leaves and boil until agar-agar dissolves.

  2. Add in the sugar and boil until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.

  3. Add in 7 cups of soya bean milk and the syrup from the tin of longan.

  4. pour the mixture into jelly moulds or containers.

  5. Add the longan.

  6. Chill in the fridge before serving.
