I got this feng shui tip from the September issue of the Feng Shui & Astrology Tabloid. This tip is to help create harmony between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
The trick is to activate the southwestern position of the house as this direction represents Kun Kua in the eight trigram. Kuan Kua represents mother, mother-in-law and wife. From the Feng Shui perspective, this direction is extremely important in determining a harmonious relationship between mothers and daughters-in-law.
To enhance the relationship between the ladies of the house, one is advised to display orchids or lilies in the South-west of the house. Alternatively, one can place photographs of the mother and the daughter-in-law. If possible, try to shine some light on to the photograph to enhance the relationship further.
