The above picture shows a stray cat drinking the milk that I fed it. According to one of the teachers in my school, the cat is dying as it is very weak and feeble. Its waist section is very, very small. My student, Firdaus, told me that the cat used to belong to one of school cleaners. What I am told was that the lady had brought the cat from her home and abandoned it in the school. I am really very saddened by this. I first noticed this cat yesterday morning and wrote about it in my school blog, STESMA forever. If one were to take a closer look at the cat, the back part is full of scabs and wounds. It only took a few sips of the milk and a few bites of the wafer biscuit that I fed it. My students reasoned that it is because the cat has internal injuries and therefore has no appetite for food. It is actually a very cute and loving cat. It even came into the library and lay near my feet an hour after the picture was taken.
I am telling you this cat story because it is a Feng Shui belief that if we do a lot of charitable work and show kindness to all creatures, great and small, then we will receive blessings from heaven. Donating blood, doing charitable work can even help one to gain merits and even prevent ominous or inauspicious things from happening to us. I am also told that if we do kind deeds often, we will become more beautiful. So, instead of spending lots of money on buying expensive beauty care products, why not try doing something good to those who are in need.

The picture brings sadness to me. But knowing that you are loving it makes me fell better. Thank you and I hope the kitty fairs well.
Dear Just Country,
Thanks for leaving a message. The kitty is doing much better and hopefully, with the nine lives that it is purported to have, will be able to make it. I have named it PS.
