CLEANING AND WASHING AWAY THE DIRT AND DUST

Here in Malaysia, the school holidays have started.  That means I can take a break from the routine of going to school and teaching.  Yesterday morning I got up early and started to clean my house.  It has been some time since I last gave the place a thorough cleaning.  Some of the things have been gathering dirt and dust.
From the Feng Shui perspective, dirt and dust are a form of clutter because they clog up the flow of Qi like other types of stuff in our homes.   Since I haven't dusted and cleaned some of the spots in my house for weeks, the dirt and dust would somehow affect the Qi of the house and also the human living in it, meaning ME.
Besides sweeping, dusting and mopping, I also washed the table cloths and the silk flowers.  I gave the flowers a good soak in soapy water, washed them and then left them out to dry under the sun.  So, after hours and hours of cleaning and washing, my house is sparkling and full of good Qi.
