The Yu lan Ceremony at the Sitiawan Buddhist Association started today. Prayers for departed souls will be carried out by Buddhist monks for 2 days. Lai Yoong and I registered places for our dearly departed relatives.For those who haven't clue, Yu Lan is also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival takes place in the seventh month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is linked to the Chinese practice of ancestor worship.
