I usually have my fix of Lam Mee 淋面 whenever I go back to Ipoh for the weekend. Lam Mee is
supposedly to signify a Nyonya’s birthday noodle for longevity. It is with stock with yellow noodles and topped with several ingredients. I order mine with prawns only. It is best enjoyed with the must-have Sambal Belachan.
