I live in Sitiawan which is populated by many Fuchow and Kutien people. Naturally the hawker food served would be to the flavour of these two clans. Being an Ipoh girl born and bred, I hanker for Chee Cheong Fun which is a Cantonese dish. You can take an Ipoh girl out of Ipoh but you can't take Ipoh out of the girl. Whenever I go back to my hometown, I make sure I have my fill of this dish.
