My late grandma said that fetching the water at noon time on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month for cleansing oneself can bring in more luck for the upcoming year. She also said washing ones face with this water will keep one looking youthful. Of course, vain ole' me would not miss the chance of carrying out this cleansing ritual.
