PRAYERS FOR MY LATE PARENTS ON YU LAN FESTIVAL

As I am not good at saying prayers from the Buddhist Sutras or the Taoist ones, I depend heavily on the monks, nuns and priests who carry out prayers and rituals for my daddy and mummy's souls.  So far I have already registered their names for the ceremonies at the Paradise Memorial Park and also the Kuan Yin temple in Greentown Ipoh.
Kiasu I am when it comes to my late parents and so I registered their names for the Yu Lan Ceremony at the Sitiawan Buddhist Association as well.  I went yesterday afternoon for the registration.  There are a few rates.  Those with individual altars pay RM200 while the simple ones with their names on a slip of paper and communal offerings are priced at RM25.
