I had not realised that there were two special needs individuals at the Pondok until yesterday. These two are people with Down's Syndrome which is a condition in which extra genetic material causes delays in the way a child develops, both physically and mentally. Though we had not expected their presence, Buzz and I prepared two more goodie bags for them. Next year, we must include them in the Baju Raya shopping list.
