OH NO! NOT ANOTHER CRASH

I had planned to go to bed at around midnight after I had finished writing up my lesson plans and summary for the week but that was not to be.  

I heard the notification sound for a text message and checked my cellphone.  This was the news update that I got from STAR.

18/7 MAS crash: MH17 reportedly carrying 280 passengers, 15 crew. It was flying from Amsterdam to KL, last known position over Ukraine airspace/STAR

Goodness, we have yet to get over the MH37 tragedy and now we have to feel sad again for MH17.  This is a sad, sad day for Malaysia and Malaysians.  May the souls of all those on the plane who perished, rest in peace.
