Last week Buizz told me that her late grandma had tried to teach her how to weave ketupat casings but was unsuccessful. I first taught her last week but failed. But then I was not about to give up. On Saturday I already gave her warning that I'd make sure she comes up one ketupat sate casing this week, even if I had to torture her to get it done. Well, this afternoon, it took less than 20 minutes for her to come up with two casings. Bravo! I am sure her Opah (granny) must be smiling in heaven that her grand-daughter finally knows how to make the ketupat casing.
