When I visited Malacca during the holidays, I went to a shop selling famous local produce to buy as gifts or ole ole for my friends back home. Some famous products are durian and coconut sweets, pineapple tarts, cincalok, dodol (durian paste), belacan, keropok and ginger sweet.
