The above are two titles of articles of two members of Taiwanese group, Fahrenheit. The first one was about a fan of Calvin Chen who wanted to commit suicide after she heard that he has a Malaysian girlfriend. But according to the article, Calvin said that the girl was just a friend and not his special lady. In the same article, Wu Chun had criticised the behaviour of the fan and said that was not the thing to do.

The second article was about reporters getting the tip-off that Wu Chun was actually married and was father to a 7 year old daughter and a boy. It was said that the girl (seen in the above photo) has an uncanny resemblance to the pop idol. In reply to the allegations, Wu Chun has said through his manager that the girl was his sister's daughter and that she resembled him because they were blood relations.

I honestly pity the two young men as they are really put into a corner by their fans and also management. They know full well that a large portion of their fans would leave them should they find out that the objects of their fantasy were some other lady's boyfriend or husband. Mind you, the two are not that young. Chun turns 30 in October and Calvin, 29 in November. And so would be at the ripe age to start their own families but if they do so, their popularity will most probably wane and also there is a fear that there might be some silly lasses jumping off bridges or buildings as their dream men are no longer on the available list.

So what if Calvin has a Malaysian girlfriend! So what if Chun has been married for 8 years with a son and daughter! Well, that is to me only but to the rest of their female fans such type of findings would be akin to the end of the world.

A few of their seniors in the entertainment industry were forced to hide the fact that they were married or had girlfriends for fear of losing their fame and also the consequences of their marital status have on their fans. Think Jackie Chan and Andy Lau.

Hopefully, Chun and Calvin don't end up having to keep their wives and children in hiding in future. Anyway, I will not be too surprised or shocked if the two pieces of news are true. There is a high possibility. Don't you think so?
